We’re first international teen pageant with a special focus on environmental.
Additionally, our contestants are involved in a social service project.
The Miss Teen Earth™ pageant was established in 2012 by the President of the Miss Teen Ecuador™ Organization, Rodrigo Moreira, a 35-year-old producer, which has been involved in the - fashion industry and beauty pageants as competitor, instructor and organizer over the last 15 years.
Our areas of competition include:
judge interview, national costume, swimsuit, evening gown and on-stage question.
The 1st. Miss Teen Earth pageant,
started on September 15, 2012 at the Espol Auditorium in
Guayaquil, Ecuador. 19 contestants competed for the crown.
The first winner was María del Cisne Rivera, a
16-year-old model from Ecuador.
Until 2013, the Miss
Teen Earth pageant was
held in Ecuador. Raisa Velez of Puerto Rico
won the crown in this edition.
In 2014, the
competition moved to the Central American country of
Panama. Stella Velez Iandoli, 14-year-old from
Maracay, Venezuela won the coveted title in the pageant
held at the Hotel El Panama on October 25, 2014.
In the same year,
The Miss Teen Earth Organization received a recognition from the
Mayor Office of Panama City, for promoting environmentally beneficial activities,
which included a
reforestation program at the Summit Municipal Park, a zoo and tropical
botanical garden, refuge of different exotic plants and animals
considered endangered.
All the
contestants become ambassadors of the environment during the
reforestation program in the host country.
It's no
secret Latin American women are beautiful. Ecuador's Daniela
Cepeda - currently Miss Universe Ecuador -
was crowned Miss
Teen Earth International 2015 at Panama City, this was
the second time that Ecuador took the crown.
On
October, 2016, United States won the crown for the first
time. Sarah Levandowski of El Paso, Texas, made history by
winning the Miss Teen Earth International
title
at Panama,
beating contenders from Mexico, Ecuador, and
Paraguay.
In 2017, the Miss Teen Earth pageant returned from Panama to Ecuador, becoming host country for the third time.
Just like every year, the contestants
made a city tour and visited main tourists attractions in Guayaquil as "San Marino Shopping", "Malecon 2000" and a new tourist attraction to the existing ones: "La Perla" the first wheel giant and the more high of South America, located in the Simon Bolivar Pier, one of the more emblematic sectors of the city.
Brazil wins its first international crown through Emily Garcia in a historic event held in Ecuador on september 3, 2017.
"I'm honored to be the very first brazilian to win in the whole history of the Miss Teen Earth pageant", said.
On
September 1, 2018, Aruba wins your first
Miss Teen Earth title
In 2019, the event once again was hosted in Ecuador. Arisbe Cueto,
a 16-year-old-model became the first Miss Teen Earth from Mexico.
The
"honour roll" is made up of Sabrina Alarcon of Paraguay (Air),
Francine Gamboa of Philippines (Water), and Betty Hoyos of Colombia
(Fire).
In 2020, Miss Teen Earth will come back! and we are very happy to celebrate another year of pageantry!.
The contribution volunteering makes to society is invaluable, this is why our pageant as part of our social service project, we brought together the contestants as a volunteer to visit SOLCA,
one of the most important hospitals
in America, located in Guayaquil that specializes in childhood cancer to share some gifts
to children in treatment.
